METAL GIGS

I knew that my night was about to be metallised as i stepped out of the car and looked at the frantic crowd outside the pub waiting desperately to dive into the ear deafening genre called  "METAL"
I bought myself the passes and was ready to get annihilated by the dormant crowd and the blackness of the encompassing. As i was approaching closer to the root of all disturbance, the music which seemed unbearable in the beginning started to define and reshape itself. The arid smell of smoke and liquor filled my lungs. The heavy double bass drum beats started to take over my body. It superimposed in such a manner with my heartbeat as if they were no longer different entities. The thundering guitar riffs along with the drums were like death had come to give a fatal blow to the human race and eradicate the entire race. It was chaos all over the place. When i finally reached the main room where the inducers of all this were creating havoc with their instruments i realized that even midst this chaos their music had all the consonance and the correct rhythm (which is really really fast and complex to keep up).

I found myself a place where i could enjoy the music and also not get sucked in the MOSH-PIT. Those who are not aware of the word MOSH-PIT let me tell you what it is. Mosh-pit is an action performed by a group of people in the crowd where they go demented by the metal music and want to express themselves physically. It usually occurs in the breakdown part of the song or in the guitar solo part. It usually starts off just before the break-down where the people involved try to converge to  a point and push each other not HIT. Many people have this mis-conception that in a mosh pit a person is supposed to hit others but that's not true, one has to push not hurt others.

Mosh-Pit

The bands came and left but all delivered the same message in the end which is the truth of life packed with a beautiful "METAL" covering. The energetic crowd were drenched in perspiration as the show came to it's end but still the We-Want-More attitude clearly reflected on their faces. It was one of the best night i ever had and with a smile i walked out of the pub and took the route 666 and vanished again in the city to play my role in the best drama known as "LIFE".
I personally believe that metal music has the power to either build your world and give you infinite strength or destroy your world and make you the biggest pessimist with lonely attitude. It all depends on how you take the music! By the way Happy new year   :)
